We wanted the richer 'uncommon' men to be in suits so that they looked smart and posh. In the video they would slowly remove their tie, blazer and shirt to reveal a plain t-shirt that will eventually get covered in powder/paint from the powder/paint fight.
We also wanted the richer 'uncommon' women to be dressed smartly but look like their clothes are expensive. They will also remove some layers to clothes that they will have the powder/paint fight in.
This is an example for one of our 'common' people costumes. We want them to look like they are in lower paid manual work.
We want some people to look like they are unemployed by wearing stereotypical clothes like what you might call a 'chav'.
