Journal 12/12/11

Unfortunately the day we picked for the powder paint fight turned out to be not a very good one. It was the only day it really rained and so we couldn't take the cameras out in that kind of weather. Also, most people dropped out last minute and so we cancelled it as there would only have been a couple people actually attending in the fight which wouldn't have been very effective. So we filmed a different line of the song "I said pretend you've got no money, She just laughed and said 'Oh you're so funny', I said 'yeah'?" We are rescheduling the powder paint fight for wednesday (14th) after school and hopefully on the school field if we're given permission. Otherwise I think it may end up being filmed during the christmas holidays or even afterwards which we really don't want to happen. 

Progress...

This is the progress of my Digipack so far. Whilst we were filming the band I took the advantage of taking pictures of them so that I could use it for the Digipack. I just now need to take pictures of the powder paint fight which will complete it.

Journal 06/12/11

We filmed the band and took some screenshots of the footage. Watching it back, I am slightly concerned that we may have to film it again or possibly change what we film because the 'lead singer' didn't say the words enough (opening his mouth wide enough to show what he was singing) despite our constant directions. 

We also filmed a line that we had to re-do as it wasn't quick enough in time with the song and so this has changed the concept.

Journal 02/12/11

Today we filmed our Trolley scene in Morissons car park. Overall, we thought it was successful and are pleased with what we got filmed. The words came out clear and the actual filming isn't blurry even though we didn't use a tripod.

Journal 01/12/11

On Monday we filmed part of the band performing the song. The 'singer' found it quite hard to do as he didn't know the words very well, and got frustrated. He now is refusing to continue filming the rest, so we have found someone else that will do it for us, but it has caused us some problems as a lot of what we filmed has to be done again but with someone different. While we were filming on monday I also did a photo-shoot of the band for my Digipack which I can't use and have to do again as we are using a different lead singer. There are some shots that we can use still.
